Men's Intake

This is a year-long program designed to help men build healthy habits and prepare for a successful life after recovery. While you are in the program, you will attend classes and church services to support your personal growth and recovery journey. The program costs nothing to you or your family. However, participants are expected to volunteer five eight-hour shifts each week at one of our thrift stores or here at our facility. This is unpaid work and is considered community service as well as a way to give back. In addition, you will have weekly counseling sessions where we focus on your personal needs and help you set goals for your recovery and your future. When you enter the program, all electronic devices—such as cell phones, tablets, and laptops—must be turned in. Everyone enters the program assigned to a top bunk. This is non-negotiable. The first eight months of the program are highly structured and intensive. During this time, outside employment is not allowed because the program schedule keeps you engaged throughout the day. You will also be screened for drugs and alcohol at least once per week. Our goal during these months is to help you change your thinking and behavior so you can return to society as a productive member.
