Through GED testing, tutoring, education support, and career readiness, the GED Program helps people build confidence and prepare for a stronger future.

About the GED Program
The GED Program is part of the Career and Education Center at Grace Centers of Hope.
This program helps residents who do not have a high school diploma prepare for and complete their GED. It also supports residents as they work toward employment, continued education, and long-term stability.
For many people, earning a GED is a major step forward.
GED Testing and Education Support
Grace Centers of Hope provides GED testing and education support in Pontiac, Michigan.
Residents can receive help with online learning, practice testing, tutoring, homework, and study planning.
This support helps each person move at a pace that fits their needs.

Education Opportunities
Residents without a high school diploma take the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) test in order for the staff to create an individualized plan based on the resident’s needs.
The Career and Education Center provides GED prep courses for all residents who need to obtain a GED. This program includes individual online preparation, one-on-one tutoring, homework assistance, and pre-tests.

Career Development
After residents have been in the life skills program for nine months, they begin to search for jobs. The Career and Education Center provides assistance in obtaining a job for life skills program residents and aftercare residents including:
- Career search workshops
- One-on-one resume writing assistance
- Job search assistance and coaching
- Access to internet searching
- Interview practice and coaching
- Professional Work Attire Closet
Grace Centers of Hope is an authorized GED Testing Service® Facility located at 90 University | Pontiac, MI 48342.
Testing is done via computer through the Pearson VUE testing system. We provide GED testing to the public as a way to give back to the community that has helped us grow and cultivate our own programs.

Women's Program
The Women’s Program at Grace Centers of Hope helps women and families rebuild their lives with safety, structure, and hope.
This is not just a temporary shelter. It is a Christ-centered, One-Year Life Skills Program that helps women work through addiction, homelessness, abuse, and other difficult life challenges.
Children's Program
The Children’s Program at Grace Centers of Hope provides care and support for children whose families are part of our programs.
When a parent enters recovery or begins rebuilding their life, their children need support too. The Children’s Program gives children a safe place to learn, play, grow, and feel cared for. This support helps families heal together.
Men's Program
The Men’s Program at Grace Centers of Hope helps men rebuild their lives through structure, accountability, recovery support, and hope.
This is a Christ-centered, One-Year Life Skills Program for men who are facing addiction, homelessness, abuse, or other life challenges. The Men’s Program helps residents grow in body, mind, and spirit as they prepare for a new future.

Little Grace Village is a restored neighborhood in Pontiac, Michigan created by Grace Centers of Hope.
This neighborhood gives graduates of our One-Year Life Skills Program a safe and stable place to continue rebuilding their lives. It is more than a place to live. It is a community built on hope, responsibility, and long-term change.
