SUPPORT GRACE CENTERS OF HOPE: JAMES AND REBECCA’S STORY

We support Grace Centers of Hope. Before we made the choice to get sober, our lives were a mess. We were barely hanging on by a thread, with all areas of our lives. Our relationships, jobs, paying bills, and basic day-to-day functions were a complete disaster. We were getting by, but just barely. We both felt lost, scared, and hopeless almost every single day.

Living a life in recovery has not only given me an amazing fresh start, but it has given me hope. For the first time, in a LONG time! Drinking used to be in control of my life. Now. instead of worrying about when I can get my next drink, I think about all of the amazing possibilities that life has to offer.  I no longer wake up shaking from needing a drink. Now, I wake up and hit the gym. I don’t have to worry about keeping my job or spending my bill money on alcohol. I can’t imagine ever going back to the way I used to live. That’s why I support Grace Centers of Hope.

I came to know about Grace Centers of Hope through my now husband, James. He had completed the one-year program and was in aftercare when we met.  Dating, and then marrying, someone from the program has enhanced my life and made my recovery that much stronger. James and I are a team in everything we do, especially in recovery! It’s nice that we both know what it took for us to get where we are, and Grace Centers of Hope helped make that possible.

I’d like to thank all the donors that help keep Grace Centers of HOpe going. Without Grace Centers of Hope, many people wouldn’t be able to get the help they need. I have Grace Centers of Hope to thank for myself and my husband’s fresh start in life TOGETHER!

2023 holds endless possibilities for James and me, both individually and as a married couple. We are looking forward to building our business, our love, and our relationship with God.

One thing is for sure… the future is bright now, and I am looking forward to a long, happy life in recovery with my husband!
