Grace Centers of Hope was established in 1942.

We are one of the largest faith-based, long-term life skills programs for those afflicted by homelessness, chemical dependency, and abuse in southeast Michigan. Grace Centers of Hope (GCH) provides help and hope to those in need without any government funding. Our mission and vision are clear.

Grace Centers of Hope offers programs for men, women, and children who are seeking shelter and healing for their souls. True change begins when the hurts of the heart are healed. Our Christian-based approach to life skills offers the community and accountability which is so critical for long-term success.

Our Mission

Grace Centers of Hope is a non-profit, Christian organization committed to positively changing the lives of the unwanted, addicted, and homeless through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, personal accountability, life skills education, and work-related programs.

Programs and services are not denied to anyone regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other background. This is also consistent with our employment practices and welcoming of volunteers and donors. Men, women, and families can come to Grace Centers of Hope having a different faith, the same faith, or no faith at all and are not required to adhere to any faith-based position as a condition of service. From our experience, lasting and sustainable change comes from within. That’s why we address the whole person–body, mind, and spirit.
